FORM 06

Ceramic Nozzles

Nozzles and orifice parts where an abrasive or corrosive stream must keep its shape.

A nozzle is a wear part with a measurement problem: the orifice decides the stream, and the stream decides how fast the orifice grows. That is why orifice diameter and bore finish are the two values we hold tightest.

Alumina is the usual starting point for abrasive duty. Silicon carbide and zirconia come in where the particle is harder, the velocity is higher, or the stream is chemically aggressive.

Made to your requirement

What is defined with you before production

  • Orifice diameter and its tolerance
  • The stream: medium, pressure and velocity
  • The mounting interface
  • Whether bore finish is a functional requirement

Supply stage

Sample part first, then batch production on the same material and process basis. Ask for the material data sheet with your quotation.
