Material detailsIND 03
Precision parts for instruments and equipment where wear, corrosion and cleanability all matter.
Equipment and instrument parts have to survive repeated cleaning and sterilisation without losing their dimensions or shedding material. Metal surfaces that corrode or gall are the usual reason a ceramic part gets specified instead.
Where the specification calls for it, we work to the customer’s drawing and inspection requirements on a part-by-part basis.

Material systems we start from
A starting point, not a specification. The grade is confirmed against your equipment, the geometry and the duty.

Material detailsWhat decides the choice
Scope boundary: Vintel@Ceramics supplies instrument and equipment components in technical ceramics. We do not supply implantable devices, and we make no clinical or biocompatibility claims for any part on this site. Any implantable programme would require a qualification route we do not currently hold.
This page is selection guidance for an enquiry. It states no performance figures and is not a specification. Request the material data sheet for grade-specific values.
