Ceramic Insulators

Insulating bodies, spacers and supports for equipment that runs hot and live at the same time.

Insulation gets difficult when it is hot. Most insulating materials that are easy to work at room temperature either conduct, creep or decompose once the equipment is running, which is where technical ceramics earn their place.

The geometry matters as much as the material: creepage distance is a shape decision. We ask for the voltage class and the mounting arrangement, and work the body shape around them.

Made to your requirement

What is defined with you before production

  • Voltage class and the creepage requirement
  • Operating temperature and whether it cycles
  • The mounting arrangement and the load carried
  • Any fitting that is bonded or clamped to the ceramic

Supply stage

Sample part first, then batch production on the same material and process basis. Ask for the material data sheet with your quotation.
